Emergency Management Act
The Emergency Management Act 2005 came into operation on 24 December 2005.
In broad terms, the Act formalises the existing Western Australian emergency management arrangements, as previously established by the State Emergency Management Committee’s Policy Statement No. 7.
Regulations and administrative arrangements associated with the Act are being progressively developed.
